It started with a song! To Tunde’s surprise, playing in the background was a familiar jam of a beautiful —Ghanaian Girl! He asked her “what song is that?”, as if he didn’t know the name (LOL). With a swift and witty response, Jennifer said “you don’t know?”. Tunde equally witty and quick on his feet responded, “No tell me! 🤨Lol”. Jennifer’s response as if she’s putting Tunde on, “Wetin We Gain - Victor AD”, confirming his suspicion that she was spot on and hip to the then latest Afrobeats tunes. Tunde couldn’t allow the conversation to end there. With his mental stimulated and interest peaked, over the phone could no longer work for them. Both high energy and enjoyment people, the same vibes was their fate in person.

Energy, Enjoyments led to Engagement! Tunde always said when I was going to do a proposal it would be a grand one. Tunde persuaded Jennifer to get dolled up as if they had first met to do a photoshoot. Trust, if you know Jennifer, this was no easy feat. After months of secrecy and planning, his and her family were involved to get her to the helicopter pad! “An inbound helicopter ride to a photo shoot?” - Jennifer questioned! Knowing him so well she stated, “I feel as if you’re going to propose!” Now you see what we mean - no easy feat! LOL. Tunde overcoming Jennifer’s many inquisitive inquiries finally got to the point of one knee by jumpstarting the joyous occasion with the following words that brought tears to you guessed it, Jennifer’s eyes: “Since you came in to my life God started to align it even more. Who would have ever thought we would come to this day”.

He continued, “From driving my Porsche in the dead of winter to Vermont 😩 to your 30th birthday party and everything in between - We’ve shared memories and most importantly trips 🤣. My travel partner! My gist partner - Jenni loves gist paaaaaaa It was just fate, everything just flowed. It flowed so much that the human mind, my mind to be exact, thought it was too easy. I never got anything easy so naturally there was a reluctance on my part. But her patience with me lead me to feel and believe in my spirit that this is it. I’m at ease with you, I’m comfortable. We will forever continue to be comfortable!” After years together, we can't wait to celebrate with all of you on August 19!
