When and where is the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will take place on May 23rd at 4PM at Seminary Hill, and cocktail hour and the reception will follow.

What is the address for the venue? Are they wheelchair accessible?

Answer

The venue is Seminary Hill Orchard and Cidery located at 43 Wagner Ln Callicoon NY 12723. The venue is accessible, if you require any assistance, please advise us before the event so proper accommodations can be made.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at least 20-30 minutes before the ceremony to ensure you're seated and ready when it begins.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, there is a parking lot near the entrance of the cidery. We would like to encourage people to avoid driving if possible. We will have a shuttle service available to guests that are going to the primary lodging locations.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We are planning to have the ceremony outside and the reception will be under a tent. Both will take place at the venue, Seminary Hill.

What is the expected weather for the area?

Answer

In May in Callicoon the average high is listed at 68F and the average low is 47F. Expect light sweater weather.

Is there a dress code or recommendation?

Answer

We recommend semi-formal to formal attire. This can include: a suit, a formal jumpsuit, a semi-formal spring dress, a sports coat with khakis. We recommend you wear shoes that are comfortable and easy to walk on grass in. These are merely suggestions, feel free to adapt these ideas to meet your own needs and sense of style.

What colors are the wedding party members wearing?

Answer

Steel blue is the main color with an accent colors of green and yellow. The bridesmaids are wearing steel blue and the groomsmen are wearing mainly grey.

*Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?

Answer

Yes. Information regarding pick up and drop off times will be added later. The shuttle is confirmed for Seminary Hill and Blue Fox Motel.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Please check your invitation. If it includes “& Guest,” then yes! Otherwise, we kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation attend. If you think there has been a mistake on your invitation, please reach out to us.

We are looking forward to having a family friendly event where children are welcome. Please see your RSVP for more details.

What type of food will be served at the wedding?

Answer

We are having a family style meal featuring chicken, risotto, and filet mignon.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Please add any notes regarding dietary restrictions to your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. The food will be family style.

We’re having an unplugged ceremony — we kindly ask that you turn off devices and be fully present with us. Our photographer will capture everything!

Answer

If you have concerns about what location is optimal for you to stay feel free to contact us via email or phone. We recommend close family staying at Seminary Hill Boarding House. We recommend other guests stay at Blue Fox Motel, Callicoon Hills, or look into nearby Airbnb's.
