Through the ups and downs, Sarah has been one of the biggest supporters throughout Candace’s life. Candace is so glad to have Sarah by her side during this exciting time of her life.

Ari is one of Sydney's closest friends! They met during undergrad and worked in the same office for three years where they shared many laughs, tears, struggles, and triumphs together. Sydney couldn't imagine their wedding day without Ari by their side, and they are so thankful for their friendship!

Angela is Candace’s younger sister and lifelong Best Friend. Angela and Candace have always loved spending time together and grew up inseparable. Candace could not imagine this time without her sister!

Perri is Sydney's younger sibling and lifelong conspirator. Through memes, philosophy, and a passion for dismantling all systems of oppression, Sydney would not be the person they are today without Perri, and is thankful to have her support now and forever in life!

Amanda & Candace met in grad school and hung out over food and studying throughout the two years, but they got really close after graduation while job searching! They are Mario Kart & Mario Party experts (okay, Amanda is and Candace has been in it for fun). Now, Amanda (and Joe) is besties with Candace & Sydney! So Grateful for her friendship.

After changing classes three times in the Winter of 2017, Alexis and Sydney had their fated meeting in Patrick Peel's political science class! Sydney would not have survived undergrad without Alexis and will always cherish lunch dates at Noodles and Company, competitive words with friends games during class, and trips to the Ann Arbor District Library. Sydney is so grateful to have Alexis in their life.

Tad and Candace met through Candace’s Alpha Phi Omega Pledge Parent and from there joined LGBTQ Greek life and became roomies and besties through Pokémon and other nerdy-ness. Although Tad and Candace aren’t able to spend much time together these days, Candace knows Tad would be there in an instant if she needed him. Candace is glad to be able to celebrate her wedding with Tad.

Breann was the first person Sydney met when they transferred to the University of Michigan, and they have been the best of friends since that day. From class, to work, to concerts, Sydney is eternally grateful for Breann's wisdom, advice, and compassion, and couldn't imagine life, or getting married, without her!

Ashley and Candace have been best friends for over half their lives! They met in middle school, and became besties in 9th grade. They share a love of music and food and education! Our teachers in high school couldn’t shut us up - we were inseparable and helped each other through some of the toughest times. Candace is grateful for Ashley’s continued support and friendship, even though their lives in education keep them from getting together as much as they’d like.

Sydney and Leah met each other at the George N. Parks Drum Major camp in the summer of 2014. It was impossible to know that a week-long camp would turn into years of friendship and experiences. From high school marching band to college football, life has always been so fun with Leah. Sydney and Candace are both so grateful to have Leah (and her partner Jachob) in their lives and cherish their friendship so much!

Daniel and Candace met in the QRC (and through Tad) at Purdue and they have been besties ever since. Although it’s been WAY TOO LONG since they’ve physically been in person, Daniel is one of Candace’s best friends and she is grateful for his kindness and infinite gaming wisdom and just being able to have conversations like it was yesterday. Candace wouldn’t be who she is today without Daniel’s friendship.

Mary and Sydney met when Sydney rushed Zeta Omega Eta and was paired with Mary as their big. Being matched from a short survey has bloomed into an amazing friendship. Bonding over feminism, politics, and writing honors theses have built the foundation for a lifelong friendship. Sydney is so glad to have Mary with them to celebrate this time in their life!
