In the heart of Napa Valley, Monica and Ben's story began during the 2018 harvest at the renowned Robert Mondavi Winery in Oakville, California. Ben, a lab tech at the time, was immediately drawn to Monica during her five-month internship. What began as a professional connection soon blossomed into a genuine friendship, strengthened by carpool rides and early mornings spent together in the wine cellar. As Monica moved into a full-time role at Domaine Chandon, their bond only grew. Together, they explored Napa Valley’s vibrant restaurants, scenic hiking trails, and renowned wineries, creating memories and forging friendships along the way. Their love story unfolded during quiet lunches at Chandon, often shared on a special wooden bench overlooking the vineyards. These simple moments became the foundation of something extraordinary, paving the way for a lasting romance. Five years later, Ben returned to that very bench, where he knelt before Monica with a ring and heartfelt promises. Surrounded by the vineyards that had witnessed their journey, they vowed to nurture their love through all of life’s seasons.
