I was born and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. I have been singing since a young age & music has always been a huge part of my life. I currently work as a child life specialist at Duke Children’s Hospital. I graduated from East Carolina in 2011 (where I met the groom). After college, I moved out west and lived in Denver Colorado. After living in Denver I followed my dreams to Nashville, TN. While living in Nashville I pursued music, made some amazing friends, attended some amazing shows, and worked as a child life specialist at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. After living in Nashville for 8 years I made the choice to leave Nashville and be closer to my family and my future husband, thankfully I made the best choice! One well known fact about me is I love my dachshund Reese. He even has his own Instagram account...Thankfully my future husband loves him as much as I do. We are so excited to share our special day with you!

Brittany and I have been in each other's lives since before we were born...yes that's right since before we were born!!! There is a picture of Brittany as a toddler at my mother's baby shower when my mother was pregnant with me! Our mother's were best friends growing up and we have been best friends (more like sisters) ever since. I took some of my first steps with Brittany, vacationed together in Hawaii as 16 year old's, and shared in all of life's tragedies and triumphs together. Brittany is one of the sweetest most caring people that I have ever known and I am so grateful for her. Brittany has 3 precious boys that I adore and call my nephews. Her husband AJ (also her high school sweet heart) is pretty cool too. He is like a big brother to me. I can't imagine anyone else being my matron of honor and I am so thrilled that you all will get to meet her and love her and her family just like I do!

I met Katie back in my junior year of high school when we were both members of the girls service club (basically a high school version of a sorority). My first impression of Katie was that she was energetic, fun, a leader, and someone who loves to plan everything. Thankfully all of these qualities make for the PERFECT maid of honor. She has helped me plan every detail and has been there from day one to make sure my day is perfect. She is one of the best people to go to a concert or musical festival with and makes sure everyone around her is having fun. Not only are we best friends (but our dogs are inseparable too). We have been on so many fun trips together and she is one of my biggest cheerleaders. I'm so lucky to have her standing beside me on my wedding day.
Katherine Cadwallader

Katherine is the sister of the Groom and has quickly become one of my best friends. When I first met Katherine we instantly clicked! From showing me embarrassing photos of Mike when they were kids to discussing our favorite bravo and Netflix tv shows (Southern Charm, Vanderpump Rules, Below Deck, and Love is Blind in case you're wondering). She is one of the few people that has a more eclectic music taste than me and always knows the latest underground band/artist. She is hilarious and always keeps me laughing. Her personality is infectious and she has welcomed me with open arms from the first time I met her. Her love for standing up for social injustices and animal rights are one of the many things that make her not only a fantastic future sister in law but also an amazing human. Katherine lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband Gavin (who is also a groomsman).

Cecilia A.K.A. Cece and I met at one of our first college parties before classes had started, it was definitely a night we will never forget! Ever since that night we were besties. You could not see one of us without seeing the other one. People on campus would see one of us and ask where the other one was because it was such a rarity to see us apart. Cece always knew that Mike and I would end up together. She was always the one questioning that we were “just friends”. Your good friends just know sometimes, even before you do. After college Cece moved to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to be with her then boyfriend who is now her husband Frankie. Cece and her husband have lived in San Diego for the past few years and recently moved back to North Carolina! Cece and I spent so many college nights hanging out with mike at ECU. He said we always kept him laughing and if you get a glimpse of Cece and I on the dance floor you will understand why. I am so glad that she will be standing beside Mike and I as we say our vows.

I met Kristie in middle school and quickly we became the best of friends. We spent Summer's together going to Myrtle Beach and she has always been like a sister to me. She is one of the funniest people I know and together we are always laughing and cutting up. She came out to visit me when I lived in Colorado and Tennessee and she always makes every situation better. Kristie is a part of BILLS MAFIA (She loves the Buffalo Bills). We have always bonded over our shared love of sports. She was actually one of the first people who got me into football. There was a time in my life when the only thing I knew about football was there was a quarterback and he maybe threw the ball...!? Thankfully Kristie quickly changed that. Kristie and her husband Justin have been married since 2018 and they have a beautiful daughter named Rowan Lee. So Excited for everyone to meet her!

I met Julie at a middle school sleep over. We were jumping on the trampoline and Julie injured her knee pretty severely and couldn't move. So to distract her I started talking about my favorite movie at the time "Remember the Titan's" and how much I loved the soundtrack. The next thing I knew we were singing "Ain't no Mountain High Enough" and we have been best friends ever since. Julie is the definition of wanderlust. She has traveled all over the world and spent some time in Thailand. That is where she met her now husband Rad. Her and Rad are wedding photographers and they are extremely talented. Julie and Rad have an adorable daughter named Maya. Julie and her family live in Asheville, North Carolina and travel often for work and for play. I am so excited to have one of my best friends and biggest supporters standing beside me when I marry my best friend.

I’m Mike and have lived in Raleigh my whole life. I love playing and watching basketball and only cheer for the right color blue, DUKE BLUE. I found my passion and opened up a sneaker shop with my best man and business partner Eddie Platon. We have owned the store for 7 years. I have recently taken on the role of dog dad to my “son” Reese. The bride and I met years ago at ECU and when she moved to Raleigh our love story finally took off. We cannot wait to celebrate our love with all of you!

Eddie and I met through our hobby of selling and trading shoes. After becoming good friends we decided to take a leap of faith and open a business together. Capital BST has been a staple of the Raleigh community since and still operates on Glenwood Avenue.

Shane and I have known each other since middle school. We share a love of Duke athletics and have attended dozens of games together. We were roommates several times and are still close today.

Gavin and I became friends when he dated and married my sister. Throughout the years we’ve taken a lot of fun trips together. We’ve always bonded through our mutual love of sports and video games.

Scott and I met in middle school and have stayed good friends despite living across the country. We first became friends at Campbell basketball camp and stayed close despite living several states apart.

Drew and I go back to middle school. We were roommates together our freshman year at ECU and played together on the Blazers basketball team in Raleigh. Recently we saw the elite 8 in Dallas Texas.
