It all started in a little karaoke bar in Alyssa’s hometown. On the night of July 18, 2019, Austin had nothing to do and was asked by an old friend if he wanted to drive 30 minutes away to a random girl's birthday party. He thought, why not? That random girl was Alyssa. She was turning 25 the next day and all her friends gathered around to celebrate. Alyssa was a few too many drinks in, about to head up to sing a song when Austin came up to her with her favorite beer. Alyssa was excited to have him join the party and asked him to stay while she went up to the stage. He followed and was standing front row, beer in hand, no idea he was about to fall in love with the girl of his DREAMS. *que Alyssa singing “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac.* A few months later and they’re at the same birthday party, on a Duffy boat in Newport Beach, Austin feels confident enough and make the first move. For the next three years they are completely inseparable. On Easter Sunday 2022, in their first little home together, surrounded by their kitty babies, Austin surprises Alyssa by getting down on one knee. The rest is history!!
