FAQs

If you have any other questions than we have listed here, best to reach out to Tuesday!
Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Yes, yes you've heard Tuesday mention a colour scheme *sigh*. Neutral/muted colours only please(Navy also welcomed). No bright colours or crazy bold prints. This is a pretty casual wedding. There is what, 12 of us? There will be many, many pictures of all families taken at Sanctuary Garden so we want to make sure we don't clash! We want to look like a big weird family band.

Question

How am I getting to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

We will arrange for you to be picked up at the hotel if you choose not to rent a vehicle.

Question

So where is the reception?

Answer

No "reception". We don't like dancing anyways. Instead we will sit down for drinks and dinner for the evening. Party at the cabins!

Question

Do I need to choose my meal before the wedding?

Answer

No! We will order our meals at the restaurant upon arrival. Dinner and drinks on us.

Question

Why is Tuesday marrying Jack?

Answer

TBA

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Well, hopefully not snowing! Just kidding. Expect around 20-25 degrees with cooler evenings. Sanctuary Gardens can be quite windy so best to bring a light jacket. Beaver Lake is at a higher elevation so make to sure pack some warm sweaters.

Question

Is there a cost for us to stay at Beaver Lake cabins?

Answer

No. We have taken care of accommodation and activity costs at the cabins. Just let us know the duration of your stay with us.

Question

How are we getting to Beaver Lake?

Answer

We will arrange transportation to Beaver Lake. Let us know if you plan on renting a vehicle.

Question

What will we be eating at Beaver Lake?

Answer

Everyone is responsible for their own food and drink at the Cabins. Before heading up to the cabins we suggest heading to the supermarket / liquor store the night before, or the morning before we go up to Beaver Lake. As a budgeting guide we expect to spend roughly $150 on food for ourselves for the week. You will have your own cooking facilities at your cabin. We will bring basics like oil, condiments etc... Don't worry if you forget anything, there is a small shop at Beaver Lake and we will have our car there if anyone needs to drive to the nearest supermarket (30min drive). If everyone wants to share any meals together we can arrange it prior to the food shop.

Question

What do I need to bring to Beaver Lake?

Answer

- Warm clothing for the evening - Bathing suit if you plan on getting in the lake - A good attitude - Towels (sorry they are not provided) - We will provide you with bedding

Question

Is there phone reception or WiFi at Beaver Lake?

Answer

Yes and no. There is no phone reception at the cabins but if you take a short 30 minute hike you may get a bar or two! WiFi is available to purchase however is it not very reliable. You're going to be a bit off-grid!

Question

What is our address and contact number?

Answer

Address: 204-1965 Durnin Road, Kelowna, BC Jacks number: +1 250 718 8394 Tuesdays number: +1 778 583 1117

Question

What will Leia and Obi be doing while this is all going on?

Answer

Leia is not invited to the wedding, but will be at the cabins to provide endless entertainment. Obi unfortunately has a scheduling issue and is busy in meetings all week.

Question

I have a baby, are they invited?

Answer

Of course... ours is too! We have carefully selected venues and cabins that are child friendly.
