Abyss Trailhead
Our favorite fall hike! Round trip is 13 miles, but the best views are 3 miles in. We usually go out and back to the Aspen grove. Check out AllTrails for recent pics and helpful info.
Echo Lake Park
Beautiful hike and pull off spots! The fall colors on the drive are so stunning even from the road! We will be taking newlywed pics up here.
St. Mary's Glacier
The glacier is present year round! It is a short hike to the top where the glacier and alpine lake are located. This is one of the first things Alison took Nick to when he moved to Denver to be with her.
Old Town Arvada
Amazing food, coffee shops, and a farmer's market on Sunday! Be sure to check out Homegrown for Nick's favorite pasta, best enjoyed in their gondola car.
Idaho Springs
Check out main street for shopping, a local brew and Colorado style pizza at Beau Jo's!
Evergreen
Quaint downtown with shopping, good food, dive bars and a great farmer's market! Alison's favorite dive is Little Bear.
Raspberry Hot Springs or Indian Hot Springs
Very relaxing! Avoid the clothing optional areas, or don't :)
