Kevin and I crossed paths in 2019 at Raytheon, sparking a quick friendship. Our interactions were mostly in group settings until January 2020, when we attended a dinner at our coworker Rob’s house. That evening, Rob’s six-year-old daughter Gilly innocently inquired if I was Kevin’s wife, which was amusing since we weren’t dating at the time. However, inspired by Gilly’s question, we became a couple three weeks later, much to her delight. Our relationship faced an unexpected test when the pandemic hit in March 2020. Both of us fell ill and chose to quarantine together, just six weeks into our relationship. This two-week period was intense but enlightening. As the quarantine ended, we realized that our constant companionship was not only manageable but enjoyable. This experience solidified our relationship, and we knew we were ready for a long-term commitment. Now, four years later, our lives have flourished. We’ve moved 1100 miles from our initial meeting place, creating a beautiful life in Colorado with four pets. Our days are filled with outdoor adventures with our dogs, gardening, and exploring the mountains near our home. We’re thrilled to invite our family, friends, and loved ones to our wedding in June 2024. It’s a celebration of our journey and the incredible support system we have. We’re profoundly grateful to everyone joining us on this special day and look forward to sharing our happiness and creating more beautiful memories together. - Jordyn
