We’re keeping our celebration mostly adults-only, but a few older teens and young adults will be joining us. If you received an invitation with your teens included, we can’t wait to see them there! Otherwise, we kindly ask that little ones stay home so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.
If your invitation says "+1" or specifies your significant other's name, then absolutely! Otherwise, we are keeping it more intimate. Thanks for understanding :).
I assume it is going to be warm! The good news is the ceremony will be indoors in an air-conditioned church (woop woop!), and by the time the reception rolls around, we are hoping for cooler evening temps under the tent. Gentlemen, feel free to bring a change of shirt if you think you'll want to freshen up. Ladies, we'll likely be OK in breezy dresses, but if it helps you feel more comfortable, bring some extra deodorant or whatever keeps you feeling fresh. And please drink lots of water! (Sorry, alcohol doesn't count, no matter how refreshing those cocktails look!)
The Wedding Ceremony will be inside, and the Reception will be under a tent! But pray that it doesn't rain! :)
The reception area is pretty much cement, and the tent will be on a raised platform in case of rain!
There will be plenty of parking within walking distance of the ceremony and reception site! There should be some signs or a person there to guide you when you arrive!
The ceremony is scheduled to start at 4:30 PM, but please try to arrive at 4:00 PM to grab a seat and get settled!
No worries—we’ve got you covered! Just let us know in advance in your RSVP, and we’ll pass the info along to the amazing team at the Morris Estate. On the big day, a friendly member of their catering crew will find you before dinner to chat about what works best for you. They’ll make sure your meal is just right—delicious and safe, no matter your needs!
We know, Salmon is an iffy food choice. But you're going to have to trust me on this one. I (Sarah) am not a fish person at all. But this salmon was by far the best I have ever had! It was like eating butter!
