FAQs

Question

I saw the dress code....what does Formal Garden Attire mean?

Answer

For our celebration, we're envisioning a romantic and joyful garden evening. Please wear cocktail attire with a summer like twist (floral patterns, flowy dresses, colored suits or a fun tie.) Having some fun with color and print is encouraged but not required. Please note that ties are optional. The ceremony/cocktail hour does take place on a lawn and guests must walk on gravel upon arrival, so plan your shoes accordingly.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 25th

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at the venue between 3:30 - 3:45 so we can get the party started on time!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making childcare arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Invitations were addressed to all invited and your envelope will include your partner's name or "and guest" if we have room for a plus one. Due to the venue capacity, we appreciate your understanding.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Dinner will be served family style, but food allergies are still taken into account. There is a space when you RSVP to make us aware of any allergies you need us to be aware of.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a large parking lot at the venue. There will be attendants to help with directing traffic when you arrive.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is a shuttle that will run between the venue and the Fairfield Inn in St. Charles (less than a 10 minute drive) before the ceremony and at the end of the night.

Question

The venue is a farm...like with animals?

Answer

Heritage Prairie Farm is an organic produce farm! They've been supplying local restaurants with organic vegetables and microgreens for 20 years. Some of the dishes that will be served at the wedding were grown right there at the farm. The only animals on the farm are the three farm cats that will be roaming around throughout the day.
