Tucker and I met in 3rd Grade at Kennesaw Elementary. He and his family had just moved to Georgia. He tells that part of the story better than I do, so I'll save that for him. Tucker and I really started talking and becoming friends at North Cobb High School. I remembered seeing him play lacrosse with that long hair. Imagine Tarzan's hair... that was Tucker. I wanted to be his friend because he seemed like a funny and competitive person. At Berry College, we became best friends. He was one of the three people I knew from my high school, so I hug tackled him when I saw him. From that day forward, I would barge into his dorm room as if I lived there, and we would play Halo Reach, watch movies, and eat snacks (orange cream soda and doughnuts). After our Freshman year at Berry, Tucker transferred to Kennesaw State University, but he always found his way back to Berry to visit. Over the summers we would go to the gym together and even grab lunch or dinner from time to time. After MANY years of friend-zoning Tucker, I decided to give him a chance. We had a very strong friendship going into the relationship, and I had no idea that our love for one another would surpass it. Tucker and I have been through so much together, and I would not be the woman I am today without him. He has always supported me, who I am, and all of the crazy dreams I chase. Tucker, you are my lobster, the Patrick to my Spongebob, and the Batman to my Catwoman. - Allie
Allie and I first met back in 3rd grade at Kennesaw Elementary. I had just moved to Georgia and I remembered being very scared as I did not know anyone and being an only child I felt very alone. Well, on my first day I remember Allie came up to me and asked so politely "who are you?" If you could not tell through the text I was being sarcastic. I told her I was the new kid and she proceeded to ask where I was from. I told her Virginia. Again she and all her manners responded " I don't know where that is" and then walked away. We were in love.... not so much. Well fast forward years we went all through middle and high school together. We knew of each other but were never very close until we both attended Berry College. I will never forget on orientation day when Allie came and almost tackled and hugged me as I was walking across a courtyard (the same courtyard I would later purpose to her at). We then became very good friends at Berry. We often hung out and played video games together or went out for food. There were multiple nights we stayed up late studying together. There might have even been a hospital trip in there too! One of the funniest memories I have is I would go home on weekends and she would break into my room and bully my roommate into giving her the rest of my groceries. I then left Berry College after freshman year but never left the friendship Allie and I created. This bond we had only grew over the years until we decided to try and date. It was extremely scary for us as we both did not want to jeopardize our friendship but I am so happy we took the chance. We both have so much love for one another and we can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together. - Tucker
