We're getting married!

We first met at Riverside Yacht Club. Elizabeth was sailing 420s, and Jono was a sailing instructor. Years later, we both wound up near Washington, DC. Jono was completing The Basic School at Marine Corps Base Quantico while Elizabeth attended Georgetown. Jono reached out saying he and some friends would be in DC that weekend. We met up at Rhino Bar and have been together ever since!

After Elizabeth completed her third year of medical school, Jono suggested we take a trip to the Tubridy's house in Vero Beach, Florida. Jono always found a special way to celebrate the completion of each year of medical school, so Elizabeth was not too suspicious when boxes of her favorite food from Murray's Cheese Shop and Baked and Wired arrived at the house. After a perfect day of sun, sand, and cupcakes, we went to the Golf Club for a cocktail before dinner. Jono stepped away for a moment and returned saying he had asked a waiter to take our picture. As Jono led her to take a photo, Elizabeth turned to look for the photographer (who was hiding). By the time Elizabeth turned around to ask what was going on, Jono was on one knee!
