We're getting married!

Our story started in the most 2020 way possible — over FaceTime during the pandemic. What began as a plan to maybe be roommates while attending Georgia State University quickly turned into… not that. The roommate situation fell through, but the connection didn’t, and we stayed in touch. A year later, we finally met in person at The Battery — and from that moment on, we were inseparable. What started as “just hanging out” quickly turned into best-friend energy, nonstop laughter, and doing absolutely everything together. There was no dramatic “who said I love you first” moment — we both did, right away. It felt easy, familiar, and like we’d known each other forever. Our journey hasn’t been perfectly straight or serious — there were moves, distance, life changes, and moments where timing wasn’t always ideal. But no matter what, we always found our way back to each other. The biggest turning point came when Trystan moved to Dallas, Texas, and asked Cassidy to take the leap with him. In May 2024, she did — and Texas became home. On June 29, 2025, Trystan proposed in Rosemary Beach, Florida — surrounded by family, siblings, happy tears, and a whole lot of celebration. It was everything we could’ve hoped for and more. We’re beyond excited to do life together — the mundane, the exciting, the messy, and the magical. We don’t have all the answers yet, but we know this: as long as we’re together, we’re the happiest and luckiest people in the world. We can’t wait to build a family, travel the world, and figure it all out side by side.
