We met in high school while working together in athletic training, but our story truly began the following summer. I was working as a lifeguard, and he started coming to my pool every single day—something that showed me just how determined he was to be a part of my life. We spent that entire summer side by side. By December, we knew we wanted to be together. From there, we continued growing alongside each other, even attending college together for a year. Through every season of life, we have chosen to do it together and now want to make the commitment for the rest of our lives.
