Olivia and Henry met in high school. On the first day of second semester senior year, Henry walked into his AP calculus class and was excited to sit in the open seat next to Olivia. Henry definitely had a crush on Olivia first because Olivia did not know who he was. Henry sat down and over the course of the semester, they gradually became closer. It wasn’t until Henry left for college that Olivia and Henry officially became “boyfriend and girlfriend”. Henry never actually asked. He messaged Olivia something about his roommate having a girlfriend. Olivia responded “Your roommate has a girlfriend and you don’t?”. He said “Yes I do, It’s you”.

Over the past 7 years, Olivia and Henry have grown up together and experienced the ups and downs life has to offer: college, nursing school, loss, travel, health scares, and Wabash football games. Olivia has always been the antsy type. She mentioned many times to Henry that she was ready to get married and begin a life together. Henry wanted to be financially stable, including paying off his college loans, which he did in 2 years! In December of 2020, they moved in together. The following May, they got their puppy, Remy. Around this time, they went engagement ring shopping and Olivia customized her dream ring. After this, Olivia got her nails done every 3 weeks, just in case Henry proposed. Vacation, Olivia’s birthday, and their 7 year anniversary came and went without a proposal. Henry wanted it to be a complete surprise. On November 6th, 2021, Olivia got her nails done and she asked Henry to go to dinner at La Piedad in Broad Ripple. Following dinner, Olivia was bloated and had her jeans unbuttoned. Henry asked Olivia to come into the back room and watch him feed his fish. Olivia watched, left the room to let Remy outside. She went back in the room and Henry was on one knee. He asked Olivia to marry him and she immediately said yes.
