We're getting married!

Natalie here! James and I met in 2018 while I was taking early college courses at Shippensburg University. A few Instagram likes and a direct message later (in true modern day fashion), we planned our first date. Unbeknownst to us both at the time, our first date fell on Valentine's Day - really letting love mark the start of our story. James and I have been through so many stages in our relationship to get here - from college days and being long distance, to new jobs in big cities making that distance even farther, to finally moving in together in 2021 and buying our first home together in July of 2023. We've been each others rock during all the big changes and have created a lovely little life together. Our proposal was private and intimate, exactly how I wanted it to be - nothing fancy, just love. We were taking a morning walk along a private path at the beach watching the sun rise, when at one point I turned around to see him down on one knee. We both giggled a lot and kind of acted like goofballs (per usual) and, of course, I said yes! We are so happy to announce our engagement to everyone and to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you all soon. Thank you to everyone who has loved us and rooted for us in any capacity - it's because of our village that we get to be where we are today. We may be biased, but we really think this is gonna be the greatest party ever!
