Which airport should we fly into?

Answer

For our guests flying from out of town, the Reno-Tahoe International Airport will be the easiest and most efficient airport to fly into, with only about a 50 minute drive to Chalet View Lodge from there. We recommend renting a car for the weekend. Ideally, we’d love it if groups of guests joined forces in renting transportation together, so talk to friends who are going and try to coordinate if you can! Please note that Graeagle is relatively remote. Ride sharing apps and other technological amenities will not be available.

How do I get to Chalet View Lodge from the airport?

Answer

Directions from Reno-Tahoe Airport to Chalet View Lodge: From the Airport, head west and take the ramp on the left to I-580 North. Keep right at the fork to merge onto I-580 North. Continue onto US-395 North towards Susanville. Take exit 8 at Hallelujah Junction for CA-70 toward Portola/Quincy after about 25 miles on the US-395 N. Turn left at the stop sign onto CA-70 West and continue on for 27 miles. Chalet View Lodge will be on your left after you pass through the small town of Portola, CA.

How do I reserve a room at the venue?

All of the rooms for our wedding weekend have been blocked to the general public and will remain so until 60 days prior to the big day. To reserve your room at the venue for our wedding weekend please follow the below instructions: 1. Visit our custom booking page: https://booking.chaletviewlodge.com/#/booking/step-1?group=TRULIENIMMONS25 2. Select your arrival and departure dates from the calendar 3. Press "Check Availability" 4. Select the room type most suitable for your party, and press "View Rates" 5. Under Available Offers, press "Reserve" 6. Confirm your reservation by filling out the form on the next page Please do not call the hotel to reserve your room(s) for your stay, the Front Desk will be unable to assist you. Question

What time are check-in and check-out?

Answer

Please remember that Chalet View Lodge is a small boutique hotel that is unable to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs. Check-in time is 4:00 pm and check-out time is 11:00 am. Please keep event start times in mind when making your reservations.

How should I dress for the wedding?

Answer

Coktail attire/formal if desired; we request that you wear colors found in nature (i.e. forest green, sage green, brown, etc.), just not white! The wedding will be outdoors and the weather is predicted to be from the upper 80s during the day to the low 50s at night, so we suggest breathable clothing and a light removable layer if needed.

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

We love your children, but we kindly ask that they not be present at the ceremony. Childcare can be arranged on-site.
