We met at work when Alyssa was transferred into Rob's department. After about a year of being friends, we started dating.

Rob took Alyssa to one of the nicest hotels in Louisville. His plan was to take her to a park on the river, and propose at sunset. As he was about to take her down to the park, Alyssa had to go back to the hotel to change shoes, so we didn't make it to the park until dark. Rob was starting to get a little anxious. As he started to get down on one knee, Alyssa already knew what was going on and started crying. When he asked the big question, Rob got high fived by a jogger, which made the night even more memorable. After a lot of happy tears and laughter, Alyssa said yes.
