FAQs

If you have any more questions, other than what we’ve listed here; Please reach out to the sister of the bride and maid of honor, Myla, at 720-570-6832
Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We ask that you have filled out our online RSVP form by April 10, just so we know how much food, seats, and cake are needed. Additionally, if you don't RSVP by this date, we won't have a table reserved for you.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. The only children in attendance will be our flower girls and ring bearers!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

This is a semi-formal event! Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Please do your best to stick to our color scheme by wearing linens, black, blues, and neutral hues.

Question

Are there any colors you would prefer me not to wear?

Answer

We're glad you asked this, as we worked very hard to make this wedding beautiful and cohesive. If possible, please refrain from wearing bright colors such as purple, orange, hot pink (etc), as well as any busy or distracting patterns. Instead stick to linens, black, blues, gentle neutrals, solid colors, and pastels.

Question

Am I required to wear a mask?

Answer

No! In fact, we prefer you don't. However, if you're uncomfortable, please make sure your mask is black or white with no patterns, just to keep photos and videos cohesive and non-distracting.

Question

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Answer

Yes! Once the ceremony has commenced, we encourage guests to take their own photos and videos that capture the day from their perspective. You can upload any non-ceremony photos and videos to Instagram with the hashtag: #TRUElyinlove

Question

What's an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

An unplugged ceremony is a wedding ceremony in which all cell phones and cameras are to be completely shut off. We are choosing to go this route for our ceremony because we want each guest to be present and enjoy the moment. Plus, we have an amazing photography and videography team that's going to capture the event perfectly! With this in mind, we ask that you completely shut down your phone and refrain from taking photos and videos until the reception. We appreciate you taking this extra step to ensure this amazing day is kept sacred and intimate!

Question

Is the ceremony taking place inside or outside?

Answer

We have decided to take advantage of the beautiful Colorado scenery: Our ceremony will take place outside on the gorgeous plains that overlook the mountains of Colorado Springs.
