We're Getting Married!

Glenda and Alex first crossed paths in 2015 while working together in DC. They instantly clicked over their similar sense of humor. Some flirtatious banter was exchanged back and forth for several months before eventually blossoming into something more. On their first date, they planned to go hiking but early into the hike it began to rain. They spent the rest of the date talking and getting to know each other over Chipotle. They discussed their love of food, action movies, and the importance of faith and family. They discovered they had similar upbringings and shared the same hopes for the future. The chemistry was natural, it was like they'd known each other for years. Soon after they began dating, Alex knew that Glenda was "it"---- the person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. When he told her about his feelings, Glenda casually dismissed him by calling him silly, since they had only just started dating, but deep down she felt the same way.

It was Glenda's birthday. They were on their way to an amusement park to celebrate. Alex insisted that they stop at Great Falls, the location of their first date, to take pictures. They made their way to the overlook and asked a bystander to take pictures of them. Glenda, still oblivious to what was about to happen, continued to pose for the pictures as Alex began declaring his love and hopes for their future together. He then got down on one knee and popped the question. Overjoyed and in tears, Glenda said "Yes!" They've since adopted a puppy together, Milo, and are thrilled to be tying the knot soon. We are so looking forward to starting this new chapter together, and can’t wait to celebrate with all of our favorite people!
