What is "garden attire?"

Answer

That is a great question! (We just learned the lingo recently ourselves.) Basically, it means to dress with being outdoors in mind. The ceremony will be at the top of a grassy hill (we'll have vehicles to take you up and down) and the reception will be in a yard, so flat, wedge, or other comfortable shoes are recommended. Hopefully, we'll have a beautiful, summer day - if not, we have a tent to protect you from precipitation.

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

Transportation will be provided from the Courtyard Hartford Manchester (225 Slater St, Manchester, CT 06042) on the day of the wedding. You can book a room there using our discounted rate through July 13, 2021 (click "HOTEL" on the website main menu). If you are driving, we recommend putting "107 Pinnacle Road, Ellington, CT 06029" into your GPS. You'll drive past the house at the bottom of the hill and park near the barn - helpers will be available to guide you to the right spot. Once you arrive, a vehicle will take you to the top of the hill for our wedding ceremony!

What happens after the wedding ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, and lawn games.
