We were first introduced over Facetime by Miranda's twin sister, Mackenzie, while Miranda was living in Chicago. When the pandemic hit and brought her back home to Cleveland, we finally met in person. And from then on, she avoided going back to Chicago as much as possible. In September of 2021, Phil flew to Chicago to visit. Miranda lived next to a small Irish bar called River Shannon. At that bar he asked Miranda to be his girlfriend. The River Shannon bar became a special place for us and our favorite place to revisit. Four years, long distance, Columbus apartments, and buying a house later, we planned a trip to Ireland. On February 17th, 2025, Phil asked Miranda to marry him in front of the River Shannon in Athlone, Ireland, where his grandpa is from. We are so lucky and thankful for everyone who is apart of our story and we can't wait to celebrate with you all!
