Firestone Walker Brewing Company
The Visitor Center acts as the starting point for our brewery tours and offers 14 beers on tap. We are excited to bring back our brewery tours at full capacity. We offer a basic Brewhouse Tour every day and a special Barrel Room Tour on the weekends. Reservations are heavily encouraged.
Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort & Spa
Relaxing and private, these hillside hot spring are ideal for couples looking for a little alone time. Bring your own bubbly and soak away. Each spring is surrounded by beautiful tall sycamores and you are welcome to join the nature and go all natural. ;)

Avila Valley Farm
A great place to explore with the whole family. Stop off and buy the freshest fruit and vegetables grown locally, pick up a pie or bakery treat, hand feed and pet farm animals, grab lunch from the Smoke House and Chicken Shack, or get an ice cream to go and enjoy on the way to Avila Beach. Also, just down the road from Sycamore Mineral Springs, and near some great hiking trails.
Monarch Butterfly Grove
Take in all of the natural beauty that is, Monarch Grove! Here you have several small trails that lead on to the beach along with hundreds of beautiful Monarch Butterflies flying above you!
Bob Jones Trail Head
The Bob Jones trail is a well-paved bike and walking trail also known as the City to the Sea Trail. The 3 mile long trial starts across the street from the parking lot on Ontario Road, right off Highway 101, and ends in downtown Avila Beach.

Downtown Arroyo Grande is one of our favorite spots to spend the afternoon. There are so many great places to explore. The cute walkable downtowns has streets lined with wonderful local shops. There is everything from a bookstore, local shops, cafes, a guitar spot, places to grab lunch or dinner and even a brewery, and recently they added an apothecary. It is a great way to enjoy the day, and maybe come home with a unique local find.
