How we met

We worked together back in 1998. I was the forbidden fruit and he was the well known "crazy Troy". We never looked at each other beyond being co-workers. Our paths crossed again in 2005 at a bar. I was no longer forbidden and he was then buff! We exchanged numbers and our journey began. After many attempts of trying to leave the other, we both realized that we didn't want to live life without each other. Thirteen years later we are still in love and ready to tackle the journey of life together, but this time forever.

Proposal

Troy arranged a surprise proposal for me the day after my birthday. It was an all white affair in which I thought was for my cousin's recent engagement. Everyone in the city knew about it except for me. All of my closest family and friends were there. I walked in the venue to see the love of my life dressed in an all white suit. I caught him off guard when I walked in so he had to act fast. He immediately did his famous slide and proposed while the saxophonist played So Amazing by Luthur Vandross. Of course I said YES! After the shock of what just happened, I looked up and everyone I cared about walked towards me handing me a rose and a congratulations hug. I cried my eyes out. I immediately fell in love with him all over again. All night we cried, laughed, drank, ate, and danced. It was a blessing to share that moment with everyone I love. I still get teary eyed thinking about it. That night by far was one of the best nights of my life, and it was indeed Amazing.
