When you visit Chama, there is no mistaking the echo of the train's horn through the Valley. It passes through some of the most scenic landscapes that New Mexico has to offer.
Desert Oasis; fun for fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, camping, etc! RaeJean and her dad caught many fish along the dam over the years!
Another lake local to the area. Visitor beware, it is NOT this blue!
Visit the mom and pop shops along the main road in the village of Chama! Family owned businesses. There are ice cream, coffee, souvenir, and clothing boutiques along the strip. Please feel free to explore the area and support these mom and pop stores!
Great fishing along the Brazzos. Be weary, some access points are difficult to get to for fishing due to private property. Beautiful otherwise! RaeJean spent a lot of her childhood along this river.
Located an hour from Chama; plenty to do in the area if you decide to stay for a while. Hot springs, mountains, rivers, etc.
A favorite of ours!
