We’re finally doing it!

Our love story began on June 27th, 2007, when we were least expecting love to find us. We met at a cookout, and spent the whole evening talking. Little did we know that night was the beginning of the rest of our lives. Troy found a family, and Kate found her rock. Together, we each found the other half of ourselves who we could call home, where we felt safe and loved. We have been together ever since, loving each other and our girls through thick and thin, good and bad, and everything in between. We got engaged back on December 26th, 2015, which was well after we both knew it would be forever. Troy even made sure that Kate was ready for forever by dragging the engagement out in the form of opening a present within a present within a present, on and on, until she finally reached that little white box. When Troy proposed, he didn’t just propose to Kate. He proposed to love her and her girls and their little family and made sure everyone knew that this was it. After many more years of enjoying our engagement (and getting our girls through school), we officially tied the knot on June 9th, 2023. In the presence of our friends and blended families, we were married officially after 16 years together. Now, on May 25th, 2024, we ask that even more of our friends and blended families join us to renew our vows and celebrate our time together thus far and all the times to come.
