Is our ceremony moving forward during the current COVID-19 environment?
Answer
We are planning on moving forward with our wedding. As always, your health and safety are our top priority. We completely understand if you are uncomfortable attending due to COVID-19. We simply ask that you RSVP "No" if you do not plan to attend.

Is the ceremony and the reception in the same place?
Answer
No, the ceremony will be at Lakeside Rose Garden and the reception will be at the Paper Mill on the landing. They are a quick 4 minute drive from each other.

Are kids are invited?
Answer
Yes, you are welcome to bring your kids.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
Please see the hotel tab on our website. We have looked at reviews and proximately to the venue. Fort Wayne has revitalized their downtown area. There are a lot of restaurants within walking distance of our recommendations.

What will the weather be like this time of year?
Answer
Typically Indiana can be very hot and humid in July, however there have been years that hasn't been the case. We highly suggest you check the local weather.

The ceremony is outside, what is the plan if there is inclement weather?
Answer
The wedding ceremony will be held at the reception venue. The Paper Mill on the landing

What happens after the ceremony?
Answer
After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception where we will have a cocktail hour prior to dinner.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?
Answer
Yes, the reception will begin with a cocktail hour, which will include appetizers. This will be followed by a full dinner.

Can I bring a gift for the couple?
Answer
As we said in the registry page, your presence is gift enough for us. However, if you would like to be extra generous and provide something, we would ask that you send it to our home in Texas. Transporting gifts back could be a challenge. Our address: 2740 Albany Drive, McKinney, TX 75072

What should I do if I can’t make it?
Answer
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, or reception please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

When is the RSVP deadline?
Answer
We would ask that you provide your RSVP no later than June 9th. That will allow us to finalize our counts with our vendors.

Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
Answer
Online is definitely the easiest, but you can also mail, or simply contact Dee Dee or myself and we can update your RSVP.
