The Ceremony will be at the Top of the Mountain. There will be a gondola to transport guests to/from the ceremony. The cocktail hour/reception will take place indoors at the Red Tail Lodge. The Red Tail Lodge is in walking distance from the gondola.
The first gondola ride to the ceremony will be at 4:15pm and the last ride will be at 4:45pm.
We will be having an unplugged ceremony. We ask that you keep phones away and share this special moment with us! Leave it to our very talented photographers and videographers to capture our ceremony :) Please take as many pictures as you like during the cocktail hour and reception.
Yes, drinks are on us! Our wedding will also be heavily photographed so any shenanigans will be documented ;)
The Appalachian Hotel is walking distance to the ceremony/reception. For those not staying at the Appalachian Hotel, wedding day parking will be located at the Red Tail Lodge.
The dress code for our wedding is Formal. Ladies should wear cocktail or mid to floor length dresses and men should wear a suit and tie. Wear any color you like, but please reserve terracotta and champagne for the bridesmaids & white for the bride! Ladies - If wearing heels, block heels are recommended. Stilettos are not permitted on the gondola so flip flops will be available to those wearing a thinner heel.
All invited guests will be listed on the formal invitation. You are welcome to bring a guest if your invitation includes "you and guest," otherwise we kindly ask you to come as your invitation specifies.
We love your little ones, however, our wedding is an adult only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us!
