Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want our guests to look and feel their absolute best! With this in mind, we ask that you please dress in semi-formal attire. For women, this includes: knee length and midi-length dresses, elegant jumpsuits or pantsuits, and sophisticated maxi-dresses. Both heels and flats are acceptable, so please wear whatever footwear is most comfortable for you! For men, this includes: tailored suits, sport coats, smart blazers, button-down dress shirts, dress pants, and dress shoes. While our ceremony will be outdoors (weather-permitting,) our cocktail hour and reception will be held inside. You may want to consider bringing a jacket or wrap in case of chilly weather, but keep in mind it may get a bit warm indoors as we dance the night away!

Is there a hotel room block?

Answer

Yes! We have hotel room blocks through both Normandy Farm and Holiday Inn Express & Suites Fort Washington. For details on how to book rooms, please see the "Travel" tab above. While our Normandy Farm block only has rooms for October 24, our Holiday Inn Express Suites block has rooms reserved from October 23-25. PLEASE NOTE: the Normandy Farm room block will close on August 25, 2026 and the Holiday Inn Express room block will close on September 23, 2026. You may still book rooms outside of the blocks after those dates, but there will not be a special rate applied to your booking. Please also keep in mind that there are multiple weddings at Normandy Farm the same weekend as ours, so rooms on the property may be quite limited.

Can I bring a date?

As we have quite a large group of loved ones invited to our wedding, we ask that you please only bring a date if your invite includes "guest" along with your name. Thank you so much for your understanding!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome! If your invite is addressed to your whole family, you are more than welcome to bring your kids along. Please include them when RSVPing so we may have an accurate headcount.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors while the cocktail hour and reception will be held indoors. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved inside the reception space.

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, there is parking at both The Belle of Bluebell (where our wedding will take place) as well as Normandy Farm (hotel.) If you park at the hotel or are staying the night, there will be a shuttle service available to take you to and from the ceremony/reception space. PLEASE NOTE: this shuttle will only run before the ceremony and after the reception.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel and venue?

Answer

Yes, there is a shuttle that will take you from Normandy Farm to The Belle and back again at the conclusion of the reception. PLEASE NOTE: this shuttle will ONLY take you to Normandy Farm. If you book a stay at another hotel off-site, the shuttle will NOT drop you off at that location.

Answer

While we do not have room blocks booked at any other sites besides Normandy Farm and Holiday Inn Express & Suites, there are numerous hotels within a short distance to our venue. For hotel recommendations, please see the "Travel" tab.
