If you are staying at the Grove Park Inn, there are self park ($18/night) or valet ($25/night) options. If you are staying elsewhere, our wedding venue includes free parking. If coming in from the main entrance, follow the signs directing you to the country club. You will go through a gated area and receive a parking ticket. Hold onto this as you give it back to exit the first parking area. Continue all the way through following the signs for the country club. Park in any available space when you get to the building. If you would like to explore the resort before the wedding, you can still park at our venue and take the free shuttle up to the main part of the resort.
The Grove Park Inn is a large resort! If you would like to drive to the venue, follow the instructions listed above explaining where to park. If you are staying at the resort or prefer to valet, there is a shuttle at the front entrance that will bring you to and from our venue. The guest services desk will call the shuttle when you need it, if it is not ready. It is a short drive, but just out of walking distance (especially in heels!).
Yes! We are using Lyft to provide transportation for our wedding. We will share a code shortly before the wedding allowing you to Lyft to and from the wedding. Download the Lyft app ahead of time to redeem your code (TROULLISPARTYOF2)! If you are staying at the resort, there is a free shuttle that will take you to the country club. If there are no available Lyft rides, you can use the Asheville Taxi app or call Asheville Taxi at 828-333-1976.
Yes! There is a spa, golfing, restaurants, and some shops. If you would like to golf or go to the spa, they ask that you schedule an appointment/tee time in advance.
Our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside. If it rains, we will still host our ceremony outside under the covered patio. Our reception will take place primarily inside. Our wedding is happening in June in North Carolina so it may be hot! We are in the mountains, which does provide some cooler weather. This past June 11th, it was 80 degrees.
