We met on Hinge shortly before Jennifer moved to Louisville for law school and quickly formed a connection through our mutual love of weird memes. The day after Jennifer moved to Louisville we met for our first date: dinner at Time 4 Thai. After dinner, we moved the date to Atrium Brewing where we talked for hours until Atrium closed at 11:00. We went on our second date the very next day, and by the next week we were exclusive. We've been together ever since!

One of our favorite things to do together is eat good food, whether that's eating what we cook together or eating at our favorite restaurants. Some of our favorite recipes to cook together are saag feta (a variation on the Indian dish saag paneer), French onion soup, and pesto pasta. We love visiting our favorite restaurants (some of which are Time 4 Thai, Brasserie Provence, Taziki's, and Bombay Grill) and trying new ones. We also love getting coffee together at our favorite coffee place in Louisville, Sunergos Coffee. Another of our favorite things is watching shows and movies together. Sam introduced Jennifer to the shows Dark, Mare of Easttown, and The Outsider. Jennifer introduced Sam to her love of Netflix reality dating shows like Love is Blind and Too Hot to Handle. However, she's most proud of showing Sam The Sixth Sense, The Green Mile, and John Carpenter's The Thing for the first time.

Together we have three cats. Jennifer brought two cats (Herbie and Laura), and Sam brought one (Poca). Each of them have very distinct personalities. Although Herbie's the biggest (weighing in at a whopping 18lbs), he's also the family goober and is afraid of almost everything. Laura is the smallest and also the brains of the operation. Poca is the fluffiest and most loving but also the most spiteful (there's lots of hissing involved). Poca is NOT a fan of other cats, so it's taken her a while to warm up to the other two.
