Wedding Party

Taylor Troth

Bride

Tyler DeShano

Groom

Shelby Troth

Maid of Honor

Shelby is my longest roommate, my best friend, my partner in crime, my little sister. She is someone I hold very close to my heart. She pushes me to be better everyday because I know shes gonna hound me for my mistakes. (I love you please don't hurt me) But most of all, I aim to be better because I want to be the best mentor I can be for her. I love you, love sissy!

Cole Slinkard

Best Man

What can be said about my best man. He's got style, he's got class, he's funny, he's a little nerdy, he loves God and most importantly he's my best friend. Cole and I have been in such close proximity our whole lives yet somehow narrowly avoiding real friendship all the way until I almost graduated. Cole has seen me through almost all of my hard times in my adult years and I am forever grateful to have him in my life. He is man enough to call me out when I'm doing wrong and when I need to make a change yet he does it with so much brotherly love. Apart from the serious times we have a lot of good old fashion fun together. We nerd out together over Magic the Gathering, MCP, Lord of The Rings, Star Wars, murder mysteries, board games, video games and disc golf amongst many others. On a much cooler note we have been known to rock a dance floor, kill it on the basketball court, shoot a mean game of pool, wear the crap out of some suits and of course all of the nerdy things too because they're actually cool after all. I will credit Cole for introducing me to one of the best types of beers of all time, the roof beer! Cole and I have shared plenty of them which really is just a reason to be present with each other 1 on 1 and share what's on our minds. Cole I'm so happy at all the memories we've made and I'm excited to make more in the future. Your heart for the Lord shines through in all you do. Thanks in advance for babysitting our future kids I know you'll be great as Uncle Cole.

Aubrey DeShano

Bridesmaid

Aubrey is the strongest woman I know. I haven't known her long, but long enough to know she's an amazing sister, daughter and woman of God. I am so excited and proud to call her sister. Aubrey is passionate and driven in anything she does, especially when its involving those she loves. Thank you for welcoming me in and loving me as a sister. I look up to you. You love with your whole heart. I think that is beautiful. Thank you for your advice, your words mean a lot to me. I can't wait to see how our relationship grows in the future. I love you Aubrey. Love your new little sister, Taylor.

Hunter Bryant

Groomsman

Oh honey bun. One day I was working my old job at StoneBridge and the staff from The Bridge were giving a tour to this guy they were thinking about hiring on as our High School Director. So being the nosy person I was I meandered into the sanctuary where they currently were and forced my way onto the tour. That guy actually got hired and turned out to be Hunter. Hunter and I were friendly at our Young Adults bible study we had but not too much more than that. Eventually, thanks to hanging around The Bridge after graduation Hunter and I started to connect more. I volunteered at a few events while Hunter was director and we slowly became friends. One blessed day the opportunity arose that I would be able to move out of my parents place and into a rent house with 3 roommates. One of whom of course was Hunter! I can certainly say that our friendship grew a lot after moving in with each other and no not just because we were forced to interact everyday! We would go from seeing each other in the morning, to playing really bad basketball against each other at the church in the evenings and finally again at night waiting for him to finish his extremely hot podcast filled shower so I could finally clean myself off. Hunter was so happy to share his hobby of playing Magic the Gathering with me that it nearly took all of my money for months but I was happy to spend it. That's the kind of guy that Hunter is, if he has something good he will be more than happy to share it with you.

Andrew Cook

Groomsman

"Dude that immediately showed up!" and "Hey you want a sandwich?" are just two of the many funny and memorable things said together on our adventures. Outside of all of the potentially "dumb" things we've done we have also just been there for each other since Jr High English class. I remember starting 7th grade and being kind of nervous about making new friends, I saw this skinny kid at my table on day one and didn't think much about him until I showed up to Jr High bible study at The Bridge and he was there too! I was relieved because at the time I was very shy and having that pre-made connection made everything so much easier. I later realized that it was Andrew's heart for God that made the connection meaningful. Growing through the Jr High and High School ministries at The Bridge not much happened that we didn't make ourselves involved in. That church campus was our home away from home. Andrew and I were there for each other through the highs and the lows. I helped him through hard times and he helped me through hard times. Those are things that a man just doesn't forget. As we go through our new lives I fondly look back on the times that we've had as I hope you do too. Andrew, I keep an extra hard eye out for ant piles these days just make sure you watch out for that flying shoe!

Dakota Dean

Bridesmaid

Dakota is a character! Every second I spend in her presence is a second I have to spend gasping for air from laughing so much. I met her in AFJROTC my sophomore year in high school and we have been friends since. She is someone who I can call and talk to about anything. She is a dedicated sister in Christ and encourages me to dive deeper into the Lords Word. We talk on the phone for hours and continuously pray for each other. I cannot wait to see where life takes you. Love, Taylor!

Bryan Jones

Groomsman

Ole Bryan "BJ" Jones. Bryan has been my fun, crazy, caring, extroverted, absurdly good at every sport and God-loving friend since he was my Jr High Summer Intern at StoneBridge Church. I clearly remember one of my earliest memories of BJ being a D-Now weekend at Andrew's house where BJ and his college friend were our group leaders. We would always have these funny/disgusting eating challenges and BJ ended up by some unfortunate fate having to lick peanut butter out of his co-leaders armpit. Some people will call the stuff we did insane or excessive or unsafe but I would call them essential to building a lasting bond with lifelong friends. Bryan has always cared for me in the way I would've wanted a brother to. After I graduated high school he would call me out of the blue with no intention other than to check on me and make sure I was doing ok. BJ and I now bond over hard work together, pizza and a good Shiner. Bryan you've always asked me "you diggin anyone's chili" probably hoping that I would finally say yes, well BJ I've finally found the perfect chili for me!

Grace Polkinghorn

Bridesmaid

Grace is a true example of quiet strength. Her kindness shines through her gentle demeanor and thoughtful words. Her love is intentional and compassionate. We share many hobbies including music and reading. She has a wonderful family whom Tyler and I both spend a lot of time with. Grace and I go out for a quick cup of coffee and end up spending hours there chatting and laughing about life as her little one, Autumn plays. I will absolutely be calling her for advice about parenting whenever God gifts us a precious child. I am so glad to call her friend. - Aunt Tay Tay

Ryan Babin

Groomsman

Ryan and I have been running our hometown streets since we've been able to drive. I would often hop in his truck just to listen to music and cruise around town with no real plan or goal except enjoy life with the windows down. Whether it be church events, football practice or spare time we have always found a way to make time to catch up and have a good time. It is even alleged that one year I took Ryan to prom. That year our group had taken a trip to the beach to stay at a beach house and we ended up sleeping outside on the patio in the rain all night. Be warned Ryan tells a great story and he's got plenty so you might be held hostage in conversation for some time, but it'll be worth it. Thank you for being a true friend Babin!

Jason Alexander

Groomsman

Alexander and I first met back in 2022 when we both started working with Montgomery County Sheriff's Office as Detention Officers. Jason had previous experience from Harris County so he didn't have the pleasure of going through jail school with me. However we met again when I later got assigned to the same Jail shift as him. Jason, our colleagues and I have plenty of stories from work to go around unfortunately not many are dinner table appropriate. We've had each other's backs more than a time or two when it gets rough at work. Jason's favorite at work snack has got to be Hershey's Kisses.
