RESTAURANTS IN TOWN

Here are some great restaurants to try in the area: The Misfit in Santa Monica, Simonette in Culver City, Hatchet Hall in Mar Vista and Superba in Venice is great for breakfast/lunch. Rosenthal Winery in Malibu allows you to bring your own food and you can have a wine tasting by the ocean in the garden patio!

THINGS TO DO 

The Getty Villa is an Italian villa and museum – tickets are free. Santa Monica Beach + Santa Monica Pier. Drive on the Pacific Coast Highway and go to Malibu. Marina Del Rey Fisherman’s Wharf and get lunch on the waterfront. Abbot Kinney Blvd. in Venice for hip shopping and, of course, take a tour of Hollywood and Beverly Hills.
