Are kids invited?

Answer

While children are not invited, we encourage you to make a trip out of the weekend with your little ones - especially if you choose to rent! There is a fully licensed babysitting referral service based out of Chatham called "Summer Sitters" that we recommend using for the night of our wedding. Will Transportation be provided?

Answer

Currently the only provided Transportation will be from the Ceremony at St. Christopher's Church to Wychmere Beach Club for the Reception, and from the Reception to the Wayside Inn (with a stop at Greyfinch). Ubers and Lyfts are available but very limited in the area. Please reach out to Emily with where you are staying if there are any concerns about how to best get around.

What's the best way to visit the beach?

Answer

A walk on the beach is an all year round activity in our book. Our wedding falls before peak season on Cape, which means most beaches will be very accessible. Hardings Beach - a 7 min drive from downtown, but ample parking Lighthouse Beach - there is the Lighthouse Beach overlook or access via Water Street. There is short term parking for the scenic overlook, but if you are looking to spend some time, the best way to get here is either by walking from wherever you are in Town or driving to the Chatham Valet lot on Main Street (365 Main St), and getting a ride there on the golf cart.
