Mini Bride
Our sweet baby girl!
Maid of Honor
Shelbie is the little sister I spent so many years asking my mom why I had to deal with her, only to find out I have a built in best friend for life! Everything about her I admire and can't get enough of. I am incredibly lucky to not only call Shelbie my sister, but also my absolute favorite person to share this life with! I couldn't imagine having anyone else be my right hand lady for one of the biggest days of my life!!
Best Man
I feel like I have known Ryan my entire life. Maybe that is because he is one of my four older siblings. Ryan is 5 years older than me and as such, we were just close enough in age for us to have hung out a lot growing up. We were always involved in many of the same activities as kids and I always looked up to him and still do to this day. I’m lucky enough to call Ryan both a friend and a brother.
Best Man
Like Ryan, Eric is one of my older siblings. He is the closest to my age at just under 4 years older. With that, Eric and I spent a lot of time together over the years. It may seem like I have followed Eric’s footsteps pretty closely growing up, as we both attended KU, joined the same fraternity, and I even moved down to Austin, TX a few years after he did, but I assure you, I thought of all of those things first. I am extremely fortunate to be so close with my family, and Eric is no exception.
Bridesmaid
Brittany and I have been best friends for over 10 years. She has shown me that even when you think the world has turned their back on you, there is at least one person to hold you up! I have never met anyone who has had to work hard for everything they have, but yet doesn't complain once and refuses to quit! Brittany has shown me how to not only fully love and trust in other people, but to also love and trust in myself. She is my other half and I would never be able to have this day without her
Groomsman
The first time I met Ben, I didn’t think he was a big fan of me. He may or may not have gotten pretty upset about the way I loaded a cooler into the back of his pickup. From that point however, I like to think we have gotten closer and I want him to know that there are no hard feelings based on that introduction. Ben has also been a great help in renovating our new house. Without hesitation, he came down weekend after weekend to ensure we were able to move in on time. I am happy to have him as a new member of my family and that he gets to share in this day with me.
Bridesmaid
Rachel and I have been friends since our freshman year of college. If I need any advice, I know she is my go-to girl! We have definitely had our ups and downs, but the most amazing thing about our friendship is, we never give up on one another! She has seen me at my worst, and still continues to love me despite it. My one-time roomie, and favorite Intervention sharer, I couldn't imagine not having her by my side!
Groomsman
Joe and I met in high school as he was a boarding student at Maur Hill. Hailing from the great city of Linn, Missouri, Joe and I quickly became good friends due to our love of sports. We are both pretty crazy about the Chiefs, but I think Joe may have me beat on that one. He once stormed out of my apartment when the Chiefs lost and without a word drove home to KC. That love of sports is one of many things Joe and I have bonded over in the past 15 years. He is a great friend and I am glad he is a part of this wedding.
Bridesmaid
Jess and I have been friends since college. Some of my absolute best memories are shared with her, and will always be cherished. She knows exactly what to say to make the worst day better, and never lets me forget about my faith. The other half to my J-Squared, there's no way I could have this day without her!
Groomsman
Alan is definitely something else, but in the best way. He is always good for a laugh and throughout the years has become one of my closest friends. He is a goofy guy that I first started hanging out with as a senior in high school, even though he went to that other school in Atchison. From high school on, Alan and I were great friends and even lived together or 5-6 years in college. He is one of 3 great roommates I had during my senior year and extra lap of college. Alan will be getting married soon as well, and it is only fitting that we are in each other’s weddings. I am happy we can share in those life changing events together.
Bridesmaid
Jen is Andrew's amazing older sister, that I am lucky enough to soon call my sister-in-law. She is the type of person that would literally drop everything she is doing and be there for you in a second if you needed! I only wish I could be half as dedicated and loyal to my family as she is to hers. I am beyond ecstatic to call her family soon and have her by my side.
Groomsman
Greg and I grew up together and even though we had a grade separating us, we always were best friends. We played soccer together over the years and hung out all the time. We have always been there for each other, through the hard times and the good, and like many of my other groomsmen, Greg is like a brother to me. He is a great person, father, and friend, and I am excited that he is able to join us for this celebration.
Bridesmaid
Kylee and I have been friends since 8th grade! My longest friend by far, we still keep going strong! There may be months we go without seeing each other, but the moment we get together again, it's like no time had passed. From hill jumping to ski sloping, Kylee is one of my all-time favorite people to share life with! I am so happy to have her by my side!
Groomsman
Jordan and I became pretty inseparable in high school. We hung out pretty much every weekend and I would spend a ton of time at his house, where we would study and just be model children, wink wink. Although we went to different schools following high school, we always remained very close. Even as I moved to Austin, whenever we got together, it was like nothing had changed even though we hung out less frequently. Jordan is like one of my brothers and I am proud to have him celebrate this moment in my life with me.
Bridesmaid
Allie is the wife of Andrew's brother, Ryan and another amazing lady I am lucky to soon get to call my sister-in-law. Her smile and positive attitude is extremely contagious; just being around her instantly makes you in a better mood. Her love of wine completes my love of wine, and I am overly excited for her to share my big day with me!
Groomsman
Evan is the lone non-Atchison/Maur Hill person in this groomsmen party, but oddly enough, he spent many of his summers growing up working at Camp St. Maur in Atchison. However, we didn’t first officially meet until I came to visit Eric in college during my senior year. We began to hang out quite a bit in college and like Alan, we lived together for nearly 6 years. Evan is a great guy and we got along pretty easily from day 1. We have a lot of things in common, our love of sports, pizza, couches, and beer, among other things. Evan has become another great friend over the years and I am very glad he is able to be a part of this ceremony.
Officiant
Adam is a family friend of the Trompeter's. We chose Adam as our wedding officiant because of his outrageously amazing personality, constantly making us laugh to no ends. There may be some nerves for what may come out of his mouth on the day of, but coming from the sweetest guy we know - we can't wait to hear what he has to say!
