Our story began in the charming streets of Annapolis, Maryland. What started as a simple meet-up over bubble tea quickly turned into a night we’d never forget. After sipping our drinks, we wandered into an Irish pub, where we shared beer, mozzarella sticks, and—without realizing it at the time—a little glimpse into our future. He let me eat all the pickles, even though (as I later found out) they were actually his favorite. That small act of kindness was just the first sign of the kind, thoughtful person he is. He was a true gentleman the entire night, and as we were about to say goodbye, I couldn’t help but ask, “Aren’t you going to kiss me?” And he did. Little did we know, that kiss was just the beginning of our forever.
"I've gotta go, I have a date. She's actually in the driveway right now" Little was known how much boba and fried pickles these words would lead to. A white RAV 4 with far less missing paint that present day slowly pulled up for the first of many adventures all over the world. She was beautiful, but I hadn't planned far enough ahead to make a good first impression, and I was already going into the date as passenger princess. "Where do you want to go?" "Let's get boba." "What's boba?" A rough first impression, followed by an unknown Irish pub forgotten for all but the good mozzarella sticks and better company. I knew I wanted another date, It was a good night. Did she think so to? Making it back for curfew left many questions unanswered. "Was I weird? "Did I blow it?" "Do I actually like boba?" "Is she going to speed off as soon as I close the passenger door?" But it was enough for a second date, and a kiss. And now here we are. “So perhaps the best thing to do is to stop writing introductions and get on with the book.” - A.A. Milne (Winnie-the-Pooh)
