This is the only way to access our room block and discounted room prices. Please note: there is a TWO-NIGHT minimum stay unless you would like to reserve a Creekside Tent. There are a variety of room styles/sizes/prices. We highly encourage you to stay at this location. This is the only site with a shuttle service to the ceremony. Madbush offers two saunas, a waterfall and swimming hole on site, and the location of the Welcome Party. It is a 7 minute drive to the wedding venue. If you are interested in arriving BEFORE Friday 9/11, you will need to contact Peter and Kara to get you in touch with the correct booking staff. Burlington International Airport & Rutland Southern Vermont Regional Airport

Burlington International Airport & Rutland Southern Vermont Regional Airport are the two closest airports to Waitsfield. Burlington is a 55 minute drive to the accommodations and Rutland Southern is 1 hour 20 minutes from the accommodations.

Travel Note

Driving to Waitsfield VT

The safest and smartest way to travel by car to Waitsfield, Vermont, is to take I-89 to Exit 9 (US-2; Middlesex; Moretown; VT-100). Your GPS might suggest an alternative exit to save time—do not follow it. Alternative routes may lead you onto unpaved mountain roads that can be unsafe unless you have a four-wheel-drive vehicle.

Peter and Kara have stayed at this lodge. It is a lovely, quaint little place and the owners are very helpful and kind. This is a great option if the room block at Madbush is sold out. It is a 10 minute drive to the wedding venue. The shuttle does NOT pick up/drop off here.
