We’re so excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you.

Grundlsee is the biggest lake in Styria. You can do various activities in the lake, such as swimming, riding a boat, stand up paddling, and enjoying lake-side dinners.

Grundlsee

This is one of our absolute favorite lakes in Austria. The view is fantastic and you can take a stroll around the whole lake. Fun fact: a scene from James Bond Spectre was shot in the area.

Altausseer See

Probably one of the most famous (and touristy) places in Austria. The Chinese tourists loved it so much that they made a replica of the town in their country.

Hallstatt

If you're up for some workout, you can hike up the Loser Mountain. You can drive up with your car until the Hütte on top and start from there. The hike is beginner to intermediate level but a good pair of hiking shoes is a must!

Loser

The view from here is absolutely stunning. You'll see the Dachstein Glacier and Hallstätter Lake from here. A cable car will take you up the mountain and you'll just need to do a bit of walking to reach the viewing point.
