One night after dinner with Ethan and his parents, we decided to take a walk out in their field. We take walks often, so I was completely unaware that this walk had been specifically planned and mapped out by Ethan prior to that evening. We went on our stroll and I -tried- to gaze at the beautiful senery while Ethan nervously ushered my confused self to a particular spot amongst the bluebonnets. I didn’t understand until later why he was in such a hurry to find that perfect spot in the patch of flowers. As one of his good friends hid in the bushes to capture our moment, Ethan dropped down on one knee, pulled out a ring, and asked me to be his. So, after four wonderful years of love, laughter, tears, and many blessings, my best friend took me on a walk in a field of bluebonnets to ask me to marry him and -of course- I said yes!
