We first met in 2009-2010 when we played against each other in the Camden Pop Warner Football Championship. Luckily for Triston’s sake, his team won; but it’s safe to say that since then we both took home a win. As kids, we both had childhood crushes on one another. After becoming close friends, it wasn’t until our junior year of high school that we made things official. Triston was dropping me off at practice when he asked me to be his girlfriend. It was the easiest yes ever, up until now. As sixteen year olds, we had no idea that it would be the beginning of a boundless love.

On the anniversary of when we first started dating, Triston planned a surprise trip to the Dominican Republic in celebration of us. On the morning of our nine year anniversary he took me to see the most breathtaking sunrise on the beach. When I turned around he was down on one knee, and I instantly started crying from the excitement and overwhelming joy. Before I could even say yes, I was already ripping off the high school promise ring he gifted me, as he replaced it with a ring that symbolizes our endless love story. It was by any chance the easiest yes! Our hearts are so full. We’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you! See you in Berlin!
