We met at Toys R Us. The first day I showed up to work I had to stay for a huddle with the TRU morning crew and I laid eyes on her. As beautiful as a rotisserie chicken on a thanksgiving night, something pulled me to her. Every joke I played at work or conversation I had was my idea of flirting with her, even though she thought I hated her. I joined the group of friends at work, also hoping to get closer to her in the process. My only hesitation was that I thought she didn't feel the same way. Better to have her as a really close friend than not in my life at all. After the group drifted apart and we went our separate ways. Years later I decided to man up and ask her on a date. I messaged her "Yo Tristin" ------- "Do you like ramen or sushi?" She said she liked ramen, but not sushi. I asked her out to eat. She said she is more than happy to catch up, and asked who else in the crew was going to come? I told her that it was just me, and that this would be a date. She left me on read for 3 hours. Eventually she agreed and we started dating. Here we are years later, tying the knot and preparing for what the future holds for us. We thank all of you for taking part in our special day.
