We're so excited to celebrate with you!

We met at Upward-Bound Math Science, a summer program to prepare us for college. We actually did not talk to each other as we had our respective friend groups. One day, by chance, we sat together on one of the program's weekend trips. We slowly started to hang out more, and on our final trip, to Saint Louis, that summer we started this exciting journey.

An exciting trip with friends turned even more exciting on the last night. Everyone headed downtown for pictures and to celebrate the New Year. Tristen wanted to take pictures by Denver's giant Christmas tree, and it would have been perfect for Pearl... if it was not for the line. After bickering for a minute, Pearl agreed it would be the perfect opportunity for festive photos. It was finally their turn for photos. Everyone moved from decoration to decoration taking photos of couples. Then as Pearl and Tristen were getting situated for more photos, Tristen bent down on one knee. Pearl's eye's met the box and Tristen's eyes. What a perfect moment...
