I guess one could say Tristen and I are both wanderers. I am so thankful that both of our wandering had led us to each other. For those who don’t know I had packed up and moved 27 hours West of everything I had known at the time & little did I know 2 years later Tristen had packed up and moved 20 hours North. Both of us had left everything we had previously known. We met in what is known as “The Last Best Place”, Montana. Our first date left us both with 0 questions on how we felt about each other. Although, Tristen had nervously talked for 2 hours- that left an everlasting impression on me. I knew I loved her by the end of that night. That Montana Summer we continued to bond over what we both loved the most about life. We spent endless days on the river, fishing, swimming, driving back roads in search of Montana’s elusive moose for her to see, visiting national parks & later throughout the year leading to many winter days hunting. We eventually became inseparable- spending all our moments together, laughing, growing & ultimately realizing we both had met “the one”. Later on, we both realized “it’s time for a dog”. Tristen’s excuse was to get me a hunting dog.. come to find out we drove 5 hours to Salmon Falls Idaho to purchase a cute yellow, energetic lab for her house princess. We both fell inlove with this bundle of love. She became our better third. She is truly our first child. Fast forward a bit- we packed up from Montana leaving behind undeniably great relationships & memories to start our lives together in Virginia to be closer to my family where we had purchased our first home together. (And to get Tristen her chickens of course). We are both very excited and beyond honored to celebrate our next chapter in this beautiful life of ours with who we hold the closest to our hearts, YOU! -WMM II
