We’re getting married!

Shelby and Tristan met through mutual friends at a party, and their first connection happened over Snapchat. After seeing a story of Tristan and his parents celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in Downtown Lee’s Summit, Shelby couldn’t help but comment, saying it looked like they were having a blast and that she’d love to go out with him sometime. Not long after, they planned a double date for the following weekend, and from the moment they met up, they instantly hit it off. What started as a friendship quickly blossomed into something deeper. A few months later, realizing their feelings for each other went beyond friendship, Tristan decided to take the next step in the most charming way. While Tristan and Shelby were carving pumpkins together, Tristan secretly slipped a note into Shelby’s that simply said, “Check yes or no—will you be my girlfriend?” she didn’t hesitate for a second to write in “finally” and check the box.
