The first time Tristan and I met was in the hallway at John Glenn Elementary School. I thought he was acting like a cry baby because his dad, Roan, had just dropped him off (Tristan still claims that he had allergies). Tristan's first impression of me was to think I was a boy (thanks mom for the bowl haircut). Tristan moved to La Vernia the next year, and our paths never crossed. Fast forward to June, right before we both started college. Tristan messaged me on Twitter and asked for my number. Being nervous, I accidentally gave him the wrong phone number the first time. Luckily he was persistent and messaged me again on Twitter. We became inseparable that summer and both moved to College Station in the fall for school. Once away at college, we both got to experience the many Aggie traditions together. We attended numerous football games, had our fair share of Northgate, and made many new friends along the way! With us both being Ag majors and knowing our days on Papaw and Granny's farm were limited, it was only fitting for him to ask me to marry him in the middle of Papaw's wheat field. With my family around us, he got down on one knee and popped the question. The rest is history!
