Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Tristan Dilbeck and Daniel Murray
There are an endless number of things to do and see in LA, but here are a few we think you may enjoy.

Millard Falls Hike

Brown Mountain Fire Rd, Altadena, CA 91001

If you are up for some adventure in nature, there are tons of hikes throughout the mountains that surround LA. We suggest the Millard Falls Hike. Millard Canyon Falls Trail is a 2.5 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Altadena, California that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, running, and nature trips and is accessible year-round.

The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens

1151 Oxford Rd, San Marino, CA 91108

The Huntington is a research and cultural center surrounded by 120 acres spread across 12 specialized gardens. Originally the private estate of railroad magnate Henry Huntington, it is one of Southern California's must-see cultural destinations with magnificent collections of rare books, manuscripts, and famous works of art.

The Getty Villa

17985 Pacific Coast Highway, Los Angeles, CA 90272
, (310) 440-7300

This is the farther away of the two locations of the J. Paul Getty Museum, but in our opinion, the better, plus it gives amazing views of the Pacific Ocean! The Getty Villa is at the easterly end of the Malibu coast in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles. The Getty Villa is an educational center and museum dedicated to the study of the arts and cultures of ancient Greece, Rome, and Etruria. The collection has 44,000 Greek, Roman, and Etruscan antiquities dating from 6,500 BC to 400 AD, including the Lansdowne Heracles and the Victorious Youth.

Universal Studios Hollywood

100 Universal City Plaza, Universal City, CA 91608

Universal Studios Hollywood is a film studio and theme park in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles County, California. It is one of the oldest and most famous Hollywood film studios still in use. Its official marketing headline is "The Entertainment Capital of LA". It was initially created to offer tours of the real Universal Studios sets and is the first of many full-fledged Universal Studios Theme Parks located across the world.

Shopping in Old Town Pasadena

Pasadena, CA

Walk around the downtown historic district, now a popular destination for shopping, dining & entertainment. Some restaurants we suggest in the area are Union (italian), The Luggage Room (pizza), Boiling Point (Taiwanese Hot Pot), and The Pie Hole (Dessert).

Griffith Observatory

2800 E Observatory Rd, Los Angeles, CA 90027

This art deco landmark from 1935 features a high-tech planetarium, public telescopes & city views.
