We're getting married

I think we met on the fourth of July in 2016, but Tristan thinks it was before that so we are not quite sure. After the 4th of July, we would see each other every so often because we were in the same friend group. For example for New Year's Eve in 2016, Delaney asked if Tristan could come to my house since I was having a little get together. Then in January 2017, we had winter formal and Tristan and I were at the same place taking pictures. That is where we took our very first picture together. I thought of Tristan as a friend, but he states that he already liked me and likes to tell himself I liked him too haha. After winter formal our friend group pretty much hung out all the time which meant we were hanging out a ton. My friends came to a lot of my soccer games, even to the state championship game which meant Tristan came too. Then one day at school I did not have a ride home from school and Tristan offered to give me a ride. That was the very first time we hung out just the two of us and although it was just a 5-minute drive we ended up sitting in front of my house for another 15 minutes talking. This soon turned into a pretty much daily. He met my mom in front of my house, one of my best friends, Kaytlynn, in front of my house since she lives two doors down. Side note: the reason we never went inside my house was because he had football practice pretty shortly after school so there was just enough time to drive me home and talk for as long as we could before I had to jump out of the car so he could make it to practice. Then one day I asked if he wanted to grab lunch, I genuinely thought the answer would be no because he always had football practice but his answer was yes. This is the part Tristan and I always argue over. I simply asked him as a friend and wanting to be nice since he was driving me home so often. On the other hand, he loves to tell people I asked him out on our first date. Now looking back, I guess you could say it was our first date ;)
