How to get to the Island

There are two ferries that depart the Mainland (Portland) to the Island (Chebeague). Chebeague Transportation Company departs from Cousins Island, Maine A parking lot off US 1 and a short bus ride to the dock will bring you to the Islanders residential Ferry The ferry and bus schedule is posted on their website www.ctcferry.org/#schedule The second option is through Casco Bay Lines in Downtown Portland. This scenic cruise brings you along the bay, where Althea and her siblings grew up.
