When and where is the wedding taking place?

Our wedding will take place at Meyer's Castle in Dyer, Indiana on September 27, 2025.

What is the dress code?
Answer
The dress code is formal. We kindly ask guests to wear suits, tuxedos, formal dresses, or evening gowns.
Question
Are kids allowed at the ceremony and reception?
Answer
This will be a child-free event. Only children in the wedding party and those specifically listed on the invitation are invited to attend the ceremony.

Are there nearby hotels or accommodations?
Answer
Yes, there are several hotels conveniently located near the venue! We will be reserving a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn, and more details will be available soon on the Travel tab.

How do I get to the venue?
Answer
From the North, Northwest, or Western Suburbs: Take I-294 South to Illinois 394, then head south to Glenwood-Dyer Road. Turn east on Glenwood-Dyer Road to U.S. 30. Meyer’s Castle is on Route 30, just past Burger King and Sand Ridge Plaza. If you reach Route 41, you’ve gone too far. From the Southern Suburbs: Take Glenwood-Dyer Road, Lincoln Highway, or Sauk Trail to Route 30. Continue east through Dyer’s business district. Meyer’s Castle is just past Burger King and Sand Ridge Plaza on Route 30. If you reach Route 41, you’ve gone too far. From I-65 & the East: Exit onto Route 30 and head west through Merrillville and Schererville. Continue past Route 41. Meyer’s Castle is about a mile down, on the left, just before the Sand Ridge Plaza. From the Chicago Loop: Follow I-94 South, then take Illinois 394 South. Turn east onto Glenwood-Dyer Road to U.S. 30. Meyer’s Castle is just past Burger King and Sand Ridge Plaza. If you reach Route 41, you’ve gone too far.

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
Yes, Meyer's Castle has multiple parking lots available on the estate grounds. A shuttle bus will provide transportation between the parking lot and the venue for your convenience.
